How can I sign up for classes?

When can I sign up?
NWA runs on autoenrollment meaning currently enrolled families will continue their enrollment from session-to-session. Families can join mid-session on a space available basis (tuition prorated). To enroll in future sessions - contact NWA and we will add you to the waitlist. If there is a spot available for the upcoming session, you will be contacted prior to the session start date​

-What should my child wear to class?
Kids should wear athletic clothing that is not tight or binding-no zippers or buttons. Leotards for girls are welcome but not required. T-shirts must be tucked in. Please tie back long hair and remove all jewelry prior to class. Participants will be barefoot during class.

-Do you offer make-ups for missed classes?
Makeups are offered for missed recreational classes (there are no makeups for team gymnasts). Makeups are done in any of our open gyms and must be prearranged (no drop ins). Makeups must be completed within the session of the missed class. Parent/Child makeups can be made up in any of the parent/child classes on a space available basis. There is a limit of two makeups per session.

-Can we join classes mid-session?
Families can register in any space available class at anytime in the session and tuition will be prorated.

-How do I enroll from session-to-session?
NWA runs on autoenrollment - students will continue to be enrolled in their current class from session-to-session unless we are notified otherwise. Tuition for the next session will be charged the Sunday prior to the 5th week of the current session for the following session to reserve your child's spot.
We ask that families notify NWA by email to cancel ongoing enrollment prior to the end of the 4th week of the current session (see the calendar for exact dates).

-How does auto payment work?
Tuition for the following session will be automatically charged to currently enrolled families on the Sunday prior to the start of the 5th week of the session. This will hold your child's spot in the upcoming session prior to new student enrollment. If you do not wish to continue in the upcoming session, we ask that you notify us by email prior to the end of the 4th week of the current session. We require a valid credit card be saved to your Parent Portal account.

-How do we discontinue enrollment?
To discontinue enrollment, families must notify NWA via email by the end of the 4th week of the current session. Exact dates for notification can be found on the calendar link.

-What is the session length?
The NWA recreational program runs on 6-week sessions. Session dates can be found on the calendar link. Families are welcome to join mid-session if classes have space ability - tuition will be prorated.

-Do you offer trial classes?
We offer one free trial class per student on a space available basis. Trials must be prearranged via phone or email. Trials may only be scheduled within 3 days of the intended class. Please let us know if you would like to enroll in the class - we will only hold the spot for your child through the end of the day of the trial class.

-How will I know if my child is ready to move up a level?
On the 4th week of each session, coaches will complete skill evaluations for each class. Your child's skill chart is available to view on your Parent Portal account.
When the current level's skills are mastered and with coach approval, you will be notified via email with an invitation to move up to the next level. It is never required to move up - students are welcome to stay in their currently enrolled classes and the coach will do their best to work to the student's skill/ability level.

-Can I leave the facility during my child's class?
For new and younger students, we ask that parents be confident that their children will be okay without parents in the facility prior to leaving.
If your child needs assistance using the bathroom, we ask that an adult remain in the facility.
We also ask that you make sure to arrive 5 min prior to the end of class ensuring you are there in a timely manner for pick up.

-What is the registration fee?
NWA charges a $50 annual family registration fee that is good for a full year from the time of payment. The registration fee covers administration and insurance fees.

-Do you offer refunds?
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
-Cancellation 7+ days from the first day of the session or first day of the camp week = full refund less a 10% admin fee
-Cancellation less than 7 days from the first day of the session or the first day of the camp week = 50% refund
-Cancellation after the start of the session of week of camp = no refund
** Single day camp enrollment "start date" is the first day of the week regardless of enrollment date
